Project description. A server side ad-injection technology providing radios with a wide range of possibilities to target and to insert personalized ads into their streams. The software is built to be compatible with most of the market recognized streaming technologies (Wowza, Shoutcast, Icecast, Flash Media Server, Flumotion server) using different types of detection modes (meta-data-, time-based-, silent beep-, flip-bit- and jingle-based) and insertion modes (cross-fading management, nice fit). The customer is a leader on EU and US market in the audio advertising domain.

Junior Linux Developer with Strong English Communication Skills (Bicycle as a welcome bonus)

Technologies used:

• Microsoft Visual C++ 2008/2010, GNU C++, boost, CppUnit, Perl. Protocols: HTTP, RTMP, RTMPT, RTMPE, RTMPS. Audio formats: MP3, OGG, AAC, AAC+, ASF, FLV. Misc. audio players: mplayer, Winamp, foobar, VLC, WMP, Quick Time, KMplayer, Moyea, internal flash players. Audio encoding tools, SVN, Test Link, Mediawiki.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of C/C++ (Windows, Linux) or C#, experience with Perl will be the advantage
• Knowledge of OOP/OOA
• Understanding the process of commercial software development, program life-cycle stages, reporting
• Upper-Intermediate knowledge of English is a must
• Experience with audio streams processing and signal processing would be an advantage
