JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • IBM Tivloli Storage Manager 5.4-6.3 installation (under Windows 2003/2008)
  • Installation/setup of TSM client software (BAC/TDP Exchange/TDP Oracle/ MS SQL) onto Windows/Linux servers
  • TSM administration
  • Backup performance optimization
  • Knowledge of IBM TS 3200/3310 hardware
  • Knowledge of storages IBM DS4700 / EMC VNX5300 / EMC DataDomain
  • Hardware (tape library, storages) administration, monitoring, performance optimization.
  • Producing documentation (policies, norms, guides, manuals)
  • Experience in the profile over 5 years


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in installation, setup, support and optimization of Tivoli Storage Manager.
  • Experience in setup and running of environment with several TSM servers.
  • Ability to find and fix problems with hardware/software (TSM, etc).
  • Experience in backup and restoration of TSM.
