Project Manager


Responsibilities:

  • Solely responsible for project delivery;
  • Plans and organizes work, coordinating and owning activities with Development staff, integration partners and Customer staff;
  • Responsible for  to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, and developing timelines;
  • Owns project budget and P&L responsibility for the project;
  • Actively participates in requirements gathering process;
  • Leads work teams of various sizes on engagements; plans and organizes the work for the team; determines, tracks, and reports on priorities and project status;
  • Provides guidance, assistance, and training to team members and customer staff;
  • Contributes to sales activities, customer development, proposal development, and closing sales.

 


Qualifications:

  • Education: High Degree
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of  custom solution R&D, application software implementation experience and expertise in applying technology solutions to meet customer needs;
    • Knowledge of IT networking or Telecommunications experience (Fixed, Mobile Voice, Data/IP , Transmission systems, VoIP, Wireless  and/or other enhanced services) as well as BSS/OSS applications is a plus;
    • Excellent knowledge of R&D and delivery project lifecycle. Development/architect experience is a plus;
    • Detailed experience with project management methodologies like ISO or CMMi and PMP and associated tools. SI experience is a plus;
    • Ensuring formal acceptance of project results and delivery results to customer;
    • Experience in managing of different scale projects.
  • Skills:
    • Strong background in working with Java, J2EE and Oracle;
    • Excellent communication and team building abilities;
    • Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with Customers;
    • Requirements gathering methodology, software development methodology;
    • Expertise in selling services including RFx responses, proposal writing, financials, up selling and engagement management;
    • Fluent English language as a principal business communication language;
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
    • Strong project management ability and leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities and experience;
    • Strong skills in conflict resolution and problem solving;
    • Strong results oriented with analytical and interpersonal skills.
