Project description

Financial derivatives risks / profit & loss calculation system for one of the Deutsche Bank’s investment business areas. This is mature system and is used in multiple regions across the globe inside the bank. There is constant business demand for further system evolutional change while keeping it stable and high-performing. From the technology point of view it greatly depends on distributed computing for processing hundreds of thousands trades each day and deeply integrated into the company infrastructure and key data flows. 
 
Position description
Due to significant expansion of the product team presence in Deutsche Bank’s Russia Development Centre we are looking for development team lead with practical experience in integration, messaging, distributed computing, database technologies as well as team management. The successful candidate is expected to actively build and coach the development team capable to solve complex problems and drive technological changes in the system with active involvement into multiple software development lifecycle activities like analysis, planning, design, coding, quality assurance, SL3 support to properly balance between short and long term goals. 
 
Requirements
  • Solid Java SE, EE knowledge (5+ years)
  • Extensive experience in server-side design and development using Spring, JMS, SQL (3+ years)
  • Wide knowledge about modern technologies in such areas as concurrent and distributed processing, networking, fault-tolerance, security, UI
  • Knowledge of the following platforms would be beneficial: Tibco EMS, Data Synapse, Oracle database 11g, Coherence
  • Proven track record of delivering significant results into production
  • Knowledge and understanding of agile methodologies principles
  • Experience with version control / issue tracking / documentation / code review / continuous integration tools (Subversion, JIRA, Confluence, Crucible, Teamcity)
  • Experience with unit / integration testing frameworks
  • Ability to effectively express own thoughts and ideas and present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Attention to details, high personal productivity and constructive attitude
  • Fluent English
