M.C. Dean is looking for talented, experienced software engineers to expand its development operations. If you enjoy learning and working with cutting-edge technologies, evaluating and utilizing new products and development techniques, and solving real-world engineering problems, this is the team for you.
The Design to Manufacturing project will combine multiple software platforms and technologies to enable an integrated design-modeling-manufacturing-installation process, including:
 
  • Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 3D modeling, and digital prototyping
  • Business Process Management
  • Machine-to-Machine integration, and communication protocols design and implementation
  • Enterprise data management
  • The project will involve multiple software platforms and APIs, as well as industry-leading engineering tools such as Autodesk Revit, Inventor, and AutoCAD to name a few.
 
 
Required skills:
  • Microsoft .NET 3.5+, C#, C++
  • SQL, RDBMS (MS SQL Server or similar)
  • Unit testing
  • Source control (git, SVN, TFS or similar)
Desired skills:
  • WPF, WCF, Autodesk APIs
  • Unit testing and continuous integration experience
  • Agile development
  • COM development
  • HTML5, Javascript, ASP.NET MVC, web application development experience
  • Experience using issue tracking tools
Experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of software development experience for an Intermediate position
  • 5+ years of software development experience for a Senior position
  • Intermediate or better written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong design and coding skills and understanding of design patterns
  • Open to learning new things
  • Ability to work with minimal assistance
