Our Client in Rotterdam looking for intermediate/senior PHP developer
A company specialising in interactive websites, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We have been active in online projects since 1997, mainly focusing on application development, e-commerce and lead generation. Our work is characterized by a no-nonsense approach and a focus on results. We work for various clients, who mostly belong to the top of their industry.
We are an informal company with 20 passionate employees, that follows the best practices in the industry. We work according to Scrum and Agile methodologies.
Our projects range from 2 weeks up to 3 months. The smaller ones you will do by yourself, the bigger ones are done with a team. We will provide you with technical and functional designs prior to the start of the project.
We are currently looking for intermediate and senior PHP Developers. You will be working in support of our main development team in the Netherlands. This opportunity will allow you work with a team of knowledgeable developers working on challenging applications, mainly Drupal 7 and Magento implementations. We are looking or candidates with a Bachelor degree or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years (intermediate) or 4 years (senior) experience at an internet company, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of PHP and Drupal is required. Experience with Magento is a plus. A good command of the English language is required as well, since all communications with the main office will be in English. There is a possibility we will expand our team in the Ukraine, so there are opportunities to become a Team Lead.

We ask:

  • Minimum 2 or 4 years of experience with PHP
  • Extensive experience with PHP5 / OOP
  • Experience with Drupal 7
  • Experience with the symfony framework
  • Experience with HTML / CSS and AJAX
  • Experience with XML / XSLT
  • Experience with design patterns like MVC
  • Experience with databases (PostgreSQL / mySQL)
  • Good command of the English language
  • Willingness to travel

  • experience with Magento
