JOB PURPOSE:

Leading projects, analysis of business needs, definition of business requirements and preparation of software solutions design to satisfy these requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          For assigned deliveries, this role acts as first IT contact point for business during solution implementation and maintenance
•          Preliminary analysis for new feature requests coming from Operations
•          Scope definition / maintenance for operations projects; breaking it down into milestones where applicable
•          Collecting and managing stakeholders’ requirements/expectations
•          Solution design to meet stakeholders’ expectations & scope (in cooperation with product teams); obtaining formal signoff for the solution
•          Cooperating with IT product teams on ad-hoc basis during solution implementation to clarify requirements, test functional units, etc
•          Provides business analysis for support issues escalated by support team or raised by operations users
•          Participating in Calypso implementation/maintenance project
•          Manage projects for Operations

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

ESSENTIAL

•          Technical university degree
•          Understanding of software lifecycle, experience with any issue tracking tool
•          Understanding of Project Management
•          Deep knowledge in financial markets domain: Equities, FI, FX/MM, derivatives especially in settlement process, corporate actions.
•          SQL knowledge on level enough to extract data from relational databases

PREFERRED

•          Analyst/Project Manager background in an investment bank

LIKELY / NECESSARY EXPERIENTIAL BACKGROUND:

ESSENTIAL

•          Minimum 2 years in software analysis and design for investment business
•          Experience of working for investment and/or commercial bank in IT BA capacity
•          Experience in supporting / enhancing legacy IT systems where not everything is well-documented
•          Communication in English with native speakers
