INNOVECS is building a team for product/platform development and looking for Front End Java Developer to work on the full time basis in our Kiev office.

THE PROJECT IS:

The project is within insurance domain, with the goal of building public Consumer Portal and a specialized Industry Website for participating insurance agencies. It will contain agency profile functionality, which is to be integrated with Consumer Portal to support lead generation, billing and administration subsystems as well as extensive analytics and reporting. The core of the system is a transactional database with substantial business logic and data warehouse capabilities. The product will be initially piloted in a few selected states and then deployed as nation-wide system.

OUR EXPECTATIONS:

• 3-5+ years of experience in J2EE development
• Expert knowledge of GWT 2.x (with JSP integration), Google RPC and JSON (previous experience in development of 2 large Internet-based apps or 3 medium projects of same nature)
• Experienced in components integration using remote invocation technologies, JAX-WS, EJB's
• Prior work experience with Hibernate, JPA and entity EJB's
• Previous development experience with PostgreSQL
• Understanding of user and session management approaches within distributed enterprise applications
• Good understanding of existing threats and current attack vectors against web applications (SQL injection, XSS, HTTP poisoning, open redirect exploit, etc.) and common coding practices to mitigate them
• Knowledge of other frameworks/components is a big ++: Quartz, Drools
• Previous projects using JBoss Developer Studio, SVN, Jira, and Continuous Integration approach
• Intermediate English
