Luximax seeks a QA engineer who will be in charge of ensuring that software products meet the highest possible standards of quality. You will be involved in the testing and validation of the commercial products based on the innovative media processing technologies for international markets. You will work closely with both product management and engineering to ensure that our products are built to spec. You will also work closely with our support team to replicate problems from the field. You will be responsible for ensuring that our test plan is thorough and stays up to date with each release. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.

This position is at our office in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in software QA
• Experience creating and updating detailed test plans
• Experience using test automation tools
• Experience with both Windows and Linux environments
• Proficiency with Linux shell scripting and at least one of Perl, Python, or Ruby
• Proficiency with SQL
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
• Experience testing streaming video products is a plus
• Experience testing consumer products is a plus
