• The QA Engineer will play a critical role for the company by ensuring that new network management and service assurance enterprise-class software products exceed the quality expectations of our largest global customers.
• Test complex network management systems that communicate using multiple protocols, including SNMP, TL-1, CORBA 3GPP and more

Requirements:

• 3+ years testing software for complex systems. Experience with distributed systems, network management, databases, telecommunications, and/or data networking equipment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of software development and software testing processes
• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows server system administration
• Experience with some defect tracking and test storage tools (e.g. TestDirector, ClearQuest)
• Basic database administration skills
• Familiarity with the following is required: SNMP, LDAP
• Expertise with TL-1 and/or CORBA is highly desirable
• Expertise with Unix/Linux Shell scripting, perl languages is highly desirable
• Strong English communications skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Bachelor of Science in telecommunications, computer science or a related field.
