UI Framework for Parallels Automation

The ideal candidate must have significant experience in designing UI and UI frameworks that interact with distributed systems, services and data tiers.  He or she has thrived in a hyper-growth environment where priorities shift fast, has strong OO design and implementation experience, knowledge of web based UI development, and in-depth knowledge of UI development frameworks, tools and architectures.

You'll be part of a strong team in a fast-paced, start-up like environment. You should be an experienced engineer with a proven track record of building high quality, AJAX enabled user interfaces, powered by web services.  HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS experience is critical.  You will be responsible for building technologies for our front end user experience and delivering in a fast, agile, yet reliable and supportable manner with low technical debt.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills, excellent communication skills.
• Quickly prototype creative UI solutions implementing your great technical vision.
• Significant experience with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX and CSS experience is critical.
• XML/XSD/XSLT experience is important.
• Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, peer code reviews, and a preference for agile methods.
• 3+ years industry experience developing UI/Frameworks for large scale applications.

Optional Requirements:

• Understanding of REST/SOAP technologies.
• Experience with DOJO, XForms, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with languages such as PHP, Perl, Ruby, Python, etc. is also useful.
