On behalf of Encode company , Ciklum searches for a Senior Java Developer to join its Kiev team.

Encode is a Danish software development company working on a product targeting the automation of various activities of marketing departments and advertisement agencies.

There are about 50 active clients (Toyota, JYSK, LEGO, Tiffany among them) and more than 80 supported production installations.

The team in Kiev currently consists of 8 persons. We follow agile methodologies in building our processes and pay attention to quality, usability and stability of the code we are producing.

The project is on the active development stage. As a result we are organizing new development team for re-designing of application core as well as performance optimization and other challenging tasks.

Technical context: Linux/Mac OS workstations, Intellij IDEA, GIT/SVN, Ant, Hudson, Jira, Apache Tomcat, JSP/ Servlets, JSTL, JQuery, JUnit/Easy Mock,  Spring (IoC and Web), Hibernate, EhCache, ActiveMQ, Quartz etc.

Your role will be:

• Re-design of application core;
• Adding new functionality;
• Possibility to choose and implement new technologies to the process;
• Refactoring;
