Currently we are looking for Team Lead/Senior System Analyst to join our team.

Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in team leading
• At least 2 years of experience in *nix and networks administration
• Knowledge of RedHat based linux distributions
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing (KVM, Xen, Amazon EC2)
• Knowledge of core network services DHCP, DNS, LDAP, NTP, etc.
• Knowledge of applications Apache, Nginx, Jboss, Postgresql, Haproxy, etc
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure monitoring and management tools (SNMP, Nagios, Zenoss, etc.)
• DB configuration and tuning (PostgreSQL)
• Configuration management software (CFengine)
• Knowledge with network equipment switches(VLANs), routers(Firewall/VPN), Wi-Fi, load balancers
• Shell and Perl scripting knowledge
• Knowledge of JAVA build tools (ANT, MAVEN)
• Continuous integration (Teamcity)
• Upper-intermediate level in spoken and advanced level in written English

Responsibilities:

• Role assumes an involvement into project-related activities on all stages:
  
  • Pre-sales: working with Solution Architecture and Project Management teams on the technical proposals and system architectures, especially on the deployment models and SLA definitions for NOC support activities
  • Startup and Planning: coordinating infrastructure planning and setup tasks related to NOC, feasibility research for the integrations and deployments of new services etc.
  • Execution: technical mentoring of more junior NOC team members, collaboration with the engineering teams, ensuring compliance with the defined NOC SLA models in project's SoW, customer communications etc.
  • Deployment: execution of the planned deployment plans and architectures, ensuring safe operations etc.
  • Support and Maintenance: periodic backups, log analysis, patch deployments, customer request processing etc.
  • Key person in communication with Greek part of the team
