Tasks:

Specialist in Computer Vision is responsible for research and development of technologies including but not limited to:

• Trainable object detection and recognition algorithms development;
• 3D data processing;
• Machine learning algorithms;
• Image processing.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Conduct research in visual object detection and recognition;
• Work closely with the other research group members as a thought partner;
• Generate patent disclosures covering the technologies created;
• Present results and demonstrations of research at internal (external) meetings.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical thinking abilities;
• PhD(highly preferable) in Computer Science, Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Biophysics or Physics;
• 3+ years experience in research and development within the broad area of computer vision;
• Proven expert abilities at algorithmic and s/w levels;
• Demonstrated expertise in C++;
• Experience developing GPGPU(CUDA) is a strong plus;
• Linux software library development experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of convolutional neural networks is a strong plus;
• Model based segmentation experience is a plus;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, passion, creativity, productivity and learning agility.
