Financial analyst supports senior management decision making with accurate and insightful analysis /modeling of business performance across functions and projects.

Financial analyst contributes to the continuous improvement of the reporting and analytical functions through formation and implementation of various effectiveness and efficiency initiatives (automation projects, support and development of the financial/business reporting system, optimization of working processes etc.).

This position reports to Director of Corporate Development Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Financial modeling and analyses of current business activities and new growth ideas;
• Analysis of actual results vs budget  vs previous periods on a weekly/monthly basis and fluctuations in actual results by period;
• Participation in development of the strategy of the company;
• Improvement of existing reporting tools to improve quality and efficiency of reporting;
• Analytical assistance to other departments of the company in Russia, Baltic countries and Poland;
• Handling information and data requests from the headquarters and the local management;
• Ad hoc reporting.

Required:

• Higher education in mathematics / statistics / “hard” sciences;
• At least two years of experience with analysis and financial/investment modeling;
• Excellent proficiency with spreadsheets, analytical tools, SQL;
• High numerical and logical ability, high degree of critical thinking;
• Ability to work under stress in a rapidly changing environment / growing businesses;
• Working level of English is a must;
• Good communication skills.

Desired:

• At least two years of Big4 experience or in other leading consulting companies;
• Experience with large Russian and multinational corporations.
