Currently we are looking for a Mobile Web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) Developer to join our Netbiscuits team. 

About project: 

Netbiscuits is the world's leading cloud software service for cross-platform development, publishing and monetization of mobile websites and apps. The company serves the mobile Internet programs for premium online, media & ecommerce companies such as eBay, Universal Music, MTV Networks, Time Inc., and Axel Springer, as well as leading agencies such as SapientNitro, Publicis, Razorfish, M&C Saatchi Mobile, and Ogilvy. Globally Netbiscuits processes more than 8 billion mobile page views for its customers each month. Founded in 2000, the company has 100 employees in the USA, Germany, UK, and Singapore. 

Main responsibilities: 

• Developing the Mobile UI Framework based on HTML, CSS and Javascript (3 years+) 
• Conception and implementation of User Interface components 
• Finding creative solutions on devices with special requirements 
• Setting up demo applications for Smartphones and Tablets 
• Evaluation and research for innovative technologies and new approaches in this area 
• Developing prototypes and experimental solutions 

You are working on the further development of Netbiscuits Javascript Framework for mobile devices. The framework consists of a logical core and a library of user interface components that can be used by our customers to build cutting-edge mobile web applications. Though being a client-side tool, the framework interacts closely with the server-side Netbiscuits Platform for optimal device detection and perfect utilization of device capabilities. Beside of the implementation of the framework itself, the analysis of similar tools and prototyping of new components and effects is also in your area of responsibility. 
As part of the Platform Development team you will work closely with other team members based in Germany. Additionally you are interacting with the Test & QA and Product Management Team, both also located in Germany. You are directly contributing to the further success and therefore to the continuous growth of Netbiscuits. 

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 
• Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related area 
• Highly skilled in working with Web Technologies (HTML, CSS and Javascript) 
• Experience in setting up Rich Websites/Rich Internet Applications based on Javascript and Ajax 
• Experience in working with at least one of the popular Javascript Frameworks for normal websites like JQuery, ExtJS, GWT and Sproutcore 
• Broad knowledge in web standards and protocols (HTTP, HTML5, CSS3 etc.) 
• Highly skilled in technical problem analysis and conception of solutions
• Flexibility and adaptability to fast changing market situations 
• Good communication skills 
• Creativity and high degree of self-motivation 
• Enthusiasm for mobile internet technology 
• Fluent in spoken and written English 

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: 
• Knowledge in XML (XPath, XSLT) and Webservices (SOAP, RESTful) 
• Basic knowledge in developing server-side Web Applications based on Java/.Net/PHP 
• Experience in dealing with relational databases (Design, SQL, MySQL, Hibernate) 
• Practical experience in applying version management
