Client Support Analyst
Requirements for the candidates:
- Bachelors' degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years IT experience (systems administrator skills in Unix, Linux, or windows, experience implementing and supporting solutions in a team environment, providing customer and/or end user support).
- Conceptual understanding of IT Service Management.
- Preferred
- ITIL V3 Foundations Certification.
- Remedy Experience.
- Microsoft Certification Desirable (MCSE/MCSA/MCSDT).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including fluency in English.
- Experience working in a Global Team.
- Strong Collaboration Skills.
- Demonstrated Capability Of Working With Team Members And Process Users Over The Phone.
- Demonstrated Strong Customer Focus Skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide 2nd level infrastructure client support for supported Business Units. Includes activities such as break-fix support, computer imaging, software\hardware installation, small moves, testing and implementation of new technologies. Includes using ViaTIL software to track and resolve both Incidents and Work Requests and providing support on a rotational basis.
- Implementation and compliance with TCO processes.
- Admin of File and Print servers (Windows 2003) for the region.
- Ensure that the company’s IT Infrastructure operates in a smooth and secured manner.
- Implementation of the company’s IT policies and security policies.
- Administrate the LAN in order to operate in a smooth manner.
- Work in collaboration with other IT teams in Europe and global team.
- Co-ordinate efforts of third party suppliers.
- Participate in IT project for the business.
- Asset Management of desktop computers and laptops (including configuration, software delivery, inventory, etc.).
- Participate in project requests; including large department moves, sizable software and hardware rollouts, hardware, software, and solutions research, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation of technical solutions, customer profiles, and general Infrastructure support practices to enable effective knowledge transfer.
- Suggests ideas/proposals to End User Computer Team for builds to create EU Best Practices.
- Design and execute complex technology solutions. Support very complex portions of the projects or infrastructure.
- Diverse customer environment with different needs and demands.
