Playtech - the world's leading online gaming platform vendor - is inviting experienced Java developers

join the new development center in Kiev. Become part of the Playtech Regulation Gateway product team. Past experience and the current trends show that Governments Regulators require from gaming vendors to report information to regulator specific data store. As a result, each time Playtech enters a regulated market, Playtech products need to integrate with the regulator for reporting. The purpose of this project is to create a unified infrastructure for Playtech products to interact with the regulator saving integration efforts from the various products extending it in the future to build unified reporting API used across Playtech infrastructure.

About the team:

The branch in Kiev will assume full responsibility for research and development of brand new component for Playtech infrastructure as well as participation in ongoing development projects for existing Playtech products working closely with Playtech teams in other countries.
 

As a Senior Java Developer you will take the following responsibilities:

·         Analyze business requirements

·         Make architectural and design decisions

·         Write robust manageable code

·         Alpha test and review code

·         Mentor junior team members

·         Establish agile development process

·         Assume technical leadership

Required:

·         At least 3-5 years of Java experience, true Java master, programming ability is way above average;

·         Experience with: Spring, Hibernate/iBatis/any other ORM, Oracle 10g/11g (MySQL, MSSQL)

·         Will be as a plus: Web Services (Apache Axis 2/Apache CXF), experience in developing applications using SOA architecture.

·         Broad knowledge of Java frameworks is preferable;

·         Formal degree in software engineering, information technology or equivalent;

·         Good English (written and spoken);

·         Ambitious, motivated, team player.
