On behalf of Playtech (www.playtech.com) Ciklum is looking for Senior Java developers for new IMS team

Playtech - the world's leading online gaming platform vendor - is inviting experienced Java developers to join the new development center in Kiev. Become part of the Playtech core product team – the IMS. IMS is the backend management system for all Playtech products including Casino, Poker, Live, TV, Bingo, Mobile. Playtech products use IMS for wallet and bonus transactions, player management, payments, fraud prevention, player acquisition, player retention, integration with external systems operated by licensees and governments through APIs. 

About team:  

 The branch in Kiev will assume full responsibility for research and development of brand new IMS product services as well as participation in ongoing development projects for existing IMS services working closely with Playtech teams in other countries.   First service to be developed in Kiev is the cross-product loyalty. Cross-product loyalty is a central service for accumulating funds of multiple gaming products. Acquired loyalty points can be redeemed by players for increased benefits and attractive awards based on rules pre-defined by Playtech licensees and loyalty program partners. The purpose of the cross-product loyalty service is to help Playtech licensees improve acquisition of new players, retention of existing players and increase player value. The loyalty service will integrate with other products through loyalty API and will offer central configuration and monitoring tool. The concept of cross-product loyalty service is similar to an airline frequent flyer program. Additional core IMS services will be developed and maintained by the Kiev branch.  

Responsibilities:  

• Analyze business requirements   

• Make architectural and design decisions   

• Write robust manageable code   

• Alpha test and review code   

• Mentor junior team members   

• Establish agile development process   

• Assume technical leadership 

Required qualifications:   

• At least 5 years of Java experience, true Java master, programming ability is way above average;   

• Formal degree in software engineering, information technology or equivalent;   

• Good English (written and spoken);   

• Preference to candidates with SQL/Oracle experience;   

• Ambitious, motivated, independent, team player.
