Responsibilities:

• Constantly act as an advocate for quality assurance.
• Contribute to the vision and strategy of the QA department, from implementation of QA procedures and client solutions through to delivering supporting documentation.
• Develop and deliver excellent test strategies, plans and reports for each project.
• Provide accurate estimates across multiple projects.
• Review user stories and other requirements documentation and create acceptance criteria.
• Gather and document functional and non-functional test requirements.
• Execute functional and non-functional tests and conduct sanity and regression testing.
• Conduct compatibility tests using different browsers and operating systems.
• Identify, analyse and document defects, errors and inconsistencies.
• Lead the QA effort at project level with support from the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Apply company and industry best practice and help other team members adopt best practices.

Essentials:

• Senior level QA experience in agile development teams.
• Proven leadership responsibilities including : Estimation, Planning, Strategy, Monitoring and Control
• Test scripting, execution and defect management - pro-actively identifying risks and dependencies.
• Working with Scrum and with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work closely with clients, third parties and development teams.
• Proven examples of driving quality throughout the project life cycle.
• Understanding of technical solutions, build and deploy processes and technical documentation.

 Advantageous:

• Responsible for test automation deliverables and experience working with specialists to build and enhance test automation frameworks.
• Automating the testing of large-scale web projects
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Cucumber, SpecFlow, Selenium WebDriver, JMeter
• Scripting experience in Java or C#
• Recent experience testing on mobile platforms – iOS and Android
• Performance testing exposure
