Currently we are looking for Software Engineer

SelecTransportation Resources, LLC is a group of heavy truck dealerships located in the Southeast portion of Texas.  Currently, the dealership group uses a 3rd party Dealership Management System (“DMS”) to run its business.   SelecSoftware, LLC, an affiliate for SelecTransportation, currently designs and builds application to integrate additional functionality for the DMS in C#.Net along with some web applications and integrates with financial institutions for some of its applications.

SelecSoftware and SelecTransportation want to build their own DMS from the ground up.  This would be a full ERP application developed including a completely new database and all business logic, graphical user interfaces, third party interfaces with its truck manufacturer, parts suppliers, and financial institutions.

This will be an Agile development project to be managed by the Controller of the company along with project management and development guidance by their in-house Developer.

Essential Responsibilities

·         Conform to system architecture standards and practices and work with a team of developers in establishing the goal of a business foundation

Qualifications/Requirements

·         Bachelor's degree/Master’s degree in Information Systems or computer science

·         At least 5 additional years of experience in application design and architecture

·         At least 5 years of experience in developing windows applications/software using C#.NET

·         At least 3 years of experience in developing web applications using ASP.NET and CSS.

·         At least 5 years of experience with SQL server and developing stored procedures, triggers, views, functions, etc.

·         At least 5 years of experience with report generation (Crystal Reports 2008 preferred)

·         Strong knowledge of end-to-end SDLC & infrastructure architecture

·         Working knowledge of developing applications on Windows 2008,x64/x86 R2 Server, SQL Server 2008, .NET 3.5 framework.

·         Experience in Silverlight and SharePoint a plus

·         Proven analytical and problem resolution skills

·         Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills
