Ciklum is looking for Strong Middle  Web Developer for a new team in Kiev

As a Strong Middle  Web Developer you will be responsible for maintaining client side components of development projects, and defining and implementing innovative web based solutions and development strategies. You will be required to deliver web pages and convert creative Photoshop documents and information architect wireframes into production-ready user interfaces whilst integrating into the specified integrated development environments (.NET, JAVA or other). As a Strong Middle Web Developer you will be required to have basic object orientated programmer skills and have a basic understanding and ability to software engineer.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development of solutions, including:
  
  • Develop, test, implement and maintain programs to serve dynamic content to users, across multiple platforms.
  • Design, develop and maintain presentation layer code to be used in both site and email content.
  • Advanced HTML, JavaScript and CSS development across a range of clients and projects.
• Implement industry and company development standards and company design standards in all work, including:
  
  • Develop solutions with the intention of platform interoperability e.g. cross-browser compatibility for all web pages.
  • Use of standard tools such as Subversion for code control, Bobby for accessibility compliance and Velocity for templating.
• Develop templates using a range of technologies.
• Lead a team of developers on small to medium projects, implementing elements of Agile.
• Integrate flash and backend technologies with front end development work with little assistance from Software Engineers and Creative Developers.
• Ensure that the Web Development team obtain deliverables from the Creative and User Experience teams for implementation on time. Escalates concerns to Technical Delivery, Client Service or Project Management team.
• Constant communication with the Technical Delivery Manager to ensure complete visibility of current workstream.
• Communicate all Client Services and Project Management concerns or change requests to the Technical Delivery Manager.
• Receive and provide feedback willingly and use the feedback to improve methods and/or solutions.
• Actively participate in peer (code) review process and share expertise with colleagues.
• Mentor and guide other developers.

Qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience working as a Web Developer at a senior level.
• Experience of commercial website development.
• A degree ideally in computer science is advantageous.
• Experience working in a creative and/or agency environment is advantageous.
