On behalf of Kuoni  Ciklum is looking for a Web Front End Developer for full-time work in Kiev office.

Kuoni Group (established in Switzerland in 1906) the largest destination management service provider in the USA and India and a leading inbound operator in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East, provides a wide range of destination and event management services in the leisure group, sports events, cruise, meetings, incentives, conference, events, congress, and individual travel fields at destinations all over the world.
The goal of the ORION project is to define, develop and implement the future group’s business core system, based on an innovative, future oriented common process model for the combined groups business.
The goal of the project is the implementation of a smart, powerful and technically advanced system, which supports the organizations capability improvement such as leaner and efficient, highly automated processes but also innovation in the area of client- and supplier integration by connecting them to the Groups operating system. The system should also be able to adapt more flexibly to market changes, and to changes in scale and should be easy to maintain.

We expect:

• Background as a Web Front End Developer. You are a self-motivated, confident, hands on and communicative person. You are fluent in English and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Key requirements are that you are collaborative and team oriented.
• It’s also expected that you will travel to Switzerland from time to time.

You can expect:

• Work closely with our onshore Development Team in Zurich, a multicultural and young group, and will be co-responsible for the design and implementation of our new group’s business core system a high performance and scalable application.
• You will implement the Web UI of our new core application throughout this project using an Agile approach.

Your Profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in design and implementation of high-performance and scalable Web Front End Applications.
• Proven experience with the follow technologies:
• Java Language, JEE Servlets Technology and Spring MVC Framework
• Javascript and AJAX, ExtJS
• HTML / HTML5 / CSS
• Knowledge about how to build reliable and user friendly Web Interfaces
• Is desirable some understanding of Continuous Integration Process
• Is desirable some knowledge with Selenium Automated Test Development
• Groovy & Grails experience or at least willing to learn it
• Experience working in a multicultural/global projects
• Experience with distributed Agile (Scrum) projects
• Able to speak, write and read in English
• Hands On and Team Spirit personality
• Customer oriented
