Thomson Reuters is looking for a highly qualified specialist to fill in the position of Java Programmer in Life Sciences division.

Java Programmer will be responsible for:

• development of web-services
• development and maintaining of software products, internal scripts and utilities of Thomson Reuters

• analyzing software product requirements, participating in discussions, technical expertise and consulting company analysts and team members

• participating in developing of product’s architecture
• finding out and fixing sources of issues in software products and scripts
• development of technical documentation for products
• participating in product releases
 

Successful candidate should demonstrate:

• master degree in technical area
• good knowledge of computer science algorithms and data structures
• 2 + years of relevant work 
• very strong knowledge of J2SE 1.6
• strong knowledge of Web Services (Apache CXF)
• strong knowledge of Spring  (Core, WS, JDBC)
• good knowledge of Oracle SQL и JDBC API
• good knowledge of servlets
• English skills at basic level and higher (to understand technical documents, participate in meetings)
• knowledge of JSP, JSF, Struts, Hibernate, JMS will be an advantage
• knowledge of Swing is an advantage
