Responsibilities:

• Develop next generation multipoint scalable Unified Collaboration solution which provides HD video communication quality;
• Implementation of terminal side for a variety of platforms (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, …)..
• Optimization for efficient resource consumption on terminal and server sides.
• Development of congestion control algorithm (algorithms for automatic adaptation of media stream to network condition changes).
• Developing scalable video codec H.264 SVC (and H.265/HEVC SVC) for next generation of Unified Collaboration solutions.
• Research new ways of video stream protection against network impairments..

Requirements:

• MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Signal processing;;
• knowledge in multimedia computing and communication
• developing applications for multiple platforms: Win32, MacOS, Linux, Android, iOS
• skills in real-time communication, voice or video over IP
• digital signal processing background/experience
• good knowledge of network protocols: UDP, RTP, RTCP, etc..
• written English is a must; spoken is highly desired

Desirable skills:

• experience in multithreaded application development
• excellent C/C++ skills
• good knowledge of Windows internals (DirectShow, DirectX, etc)
• media processing application development experience
• ability to study new technologies
