About the company:

• It is a startup company that develops innovative products directed at supporting the development of large BI environments and applications. The company's products are geared towards BI vendors, and organizations that are large enough to have their own BI development team.
• Being a start up company, the client works in a highly informal and flexible manner. Delivering the agreed-upon results is valued over strict adherence to standard office hours. Your input with respect to architectural and technological decisions, and inventing new product features, will be highly appreciated.
• Development team currently consists of two developers.

About the project:

• You will be working on the client's first product called Omega. Omega is an MDA tool for BI environments; it brings the power of Model-Driven Architecture to the BI development process.
• You will work on adding new product features to Omega. Usually you will be developing your assigned product features on your own. The lead developer is your sparring partner, and has the final say in design and implementation decisions. For planning and execution of product development the
• Scrum methodology is followed.
• The current roadmap for Omega extends well into 2013. Launch of the first saleable version of
• Omega is planned for September 2012.

Requirements:

Required

• 2-4 years of relevant experience with Java
• Experience with Java EE 6
• Experience with GWT
• Result/output-oriented personality
• Good command of English
• Likes to take initiatives and actively participate in product development
• Flexibility in working hours
• Willingness to travel

Pre

• Experience with Spring framework, JPA, Hibernate
• Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Affinity or experience with Model-Driven Architecture
• Affinity or experience with BI/DWH
• Affinity or experience with knowledge technology
