Role: The integration build engineer.

Description: Saint Petersburg R&D department of The Now Factory Ltd. headquarters in Dublin, Ireland is an independent IT company looking for perspective, self-motivated specialist to join a team of the Engineering for implementing high performance applications for telecommunications market.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and supporting build and SCM tools (presently, maven and SVN).
• Developing the installation/deployment scripts for the applications.
• Providing builds to system test, ensuring that builds across all products adhere to same practices and standards.
• Maintaining the automatic nightly build/deploy process that feeds into nightly automatic end-to-end testing across all projects.
• Provide technical guidance to the application and component team leads.

General skills:

• Expertise in Maven/SVN.
• Expertise in scripting for Linux systems (shell/awk/perl/python etc)
• Experience working in scrum/agile teams.
• Experience working on a CI server or some other automated test framework.
• Experience setting priorities and planning work, while supporting existing applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate English level.

Skills checking: Depending on Applicant’s CV it can be decided to run him or her through test  project for 1-2hs as well as open interview.
