Department DPA (Data Protection Advisor)

Seek to manage service levels, reduce complexity, and eliminate manual efforts with EMC’s powerful data protection management software that automates monitoring, analysis, alerting, and reporting across backup, replication, and virtual environments

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

•  Writes high level design specs, unit test plans and integration test plans;
•  Develops new software engineering methods or processes, re-evaluate existing processes
•  Designs simulation and test criteria and verifies functionality and performance
•  Works on the overall design and development of new ideas and products
•  Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools
•  Accountable for delivery of subsystem, anticipate issues and addresses proactively
•  Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives     
•  Coordinates technical activities of a small group of developers (2-3 people)

Experience / Key Skills required:        

•  Strong J2EE skills and knowledge of respective technologies       
•  Good knowledge of Flex
•  Experience in work with JBoss Server
•  Knowledge of relational database concepts
•  Knowledge of version control, bugtracking systems (SVN, JIRA)
•  Knowledge of Linux (advanced user)
•  General knowledge and application of engineering concepts·        
•  Communication skills, good English
•  Understanding of business environment
•  Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
