About the Company

Our customer is a well-known full-service mobile agency from Utrecht, the Netherlands. We advice retailers, webshops and brands about implementing a successful mobile strategy and develop creative, conversion-driven mobile channels (sites & apps).

About the project

The projects within the company are for 4 weeks up to 3 months. Most of the projects include development for Android (Smartphones/Tablets) at the same time so you will have to work closely with your co-developer. Since we are growing fast and have multiple projects at the same time we expect you to handle 3-5 projects at the same time! If you will work in a team you will be equal to the other developer with a direct Project Manager of the company in the Netherlands.

Since most of our clients are retailers, webshops and brands you should have experience with these kind of mobile applications within your portfolio. Functionalities that we often implement in apps are for example; in-app lookbook, in-app check-out (including different mobile payment methods), mobile membercard and coupons (QR-code based), in-app QR/barcode-scanners, store locator, videos, social media, magazines and more. Most of the time you will also work closely with the back-end developer of the client to make things work and to test web-services.

Requirements:

·    Relevant college/university degree

·    Graduated, senior level (2+ years of development experience)

·    Extensive knowledge of: Java, Android SDK, Eclipse and XML

·    Knowledge of J2ME, J2EE and iOS SDK are an advantage

·    Experience with Flurry Analytics

·    Creative / out-of-the-box thinker

·    Developer with clear interest in mobile technology

·    Good command of English

·    Flexibility in working hours

·    Willingness to travel
