Requirements:

• Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills;
• Experience building scalable, fault tolerant infrastructure software or distributed systems;
• Knowledge of system performance methodologies along with hands on empirical monitoring;
• Internet and operating system security fundamentals;
• Expertise in delivering high-quality, innovative applications 3+ years of industry experience;
• Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, urgency, and drive;
• Deep knowledge of relational databases and transactions processing;
• Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment;
• Excellent knowledge of computer science fundamentals and standard libraries;
• Customer-centric and will have a track record of building quality services.

Optional Requirements:

• Cross-platform development (Linux/Windows);
• Scripting languages (Python, Ruby);
• Knowledge of functional programming languages;
• Experience with web services-based applications, especially at massive scale, would be helpful as well.
