Tasks:

Image, video and multi-view Senior Image & Video compression Specialist who is responsible for research and development of new compression algorithms and technologies including but not limited to:

• New decorrelation transforms;
• Guantization;
• New encoding schemes;
• optimization of statistical encoding modules

Requirements:

• M.S. (PH.D is preferable) in Higher Technical or Physics & Mathematics areas;
•  At least 3-years of experience in the field;
•  Skills and experience in the field of still-image, video or multi-dimensional compression for providing solutions for R&D tasks;
•  Entropy encoding;
•  Effective decorrelation of video-signals;
•  Knowledge of modern video compression standards (MPEG2/4 and/or AVC (H264) and/or JPEG/JPEG2000);
•  Quantization and sampling of digital and video signals;
•  Mathematical and numerical modeling, experiment-setting in the field of   digital signal processing;
•  Good knowledge of applied mathematics;
•  English: at least technical level;
•  Experience in software and algorithm development in the following IDE and programming languages:
       - Visual Studio Mathlab/ Mathcad, C/C++;
       - Source version control systems;
