Ignite Ltd, International software development outsourcing company  invites highly skilled IT talents to take full time position of Ruby on Rails developer in our Kiev or Kharkov office.

Customer makes it easy for advertisers to reach a captivated, expansive and relevant mobile audience and for publishers to make money from their mobile apps and websites.

Publishers use our SDK to make their content more valuable with Customer's proprietary Video Everywhere technology. Advertisers love us because we reach the largest trusted mobile video audience.

Candidate will add to our existing development efforts in building our web applications for our internal and external customers. We are looking for someone else who is keen on using Rails, Javascript and HTML/CSS standards to build clean, easy to use user interfaces, and another individual who is not scared to wander into the world of mobile web browsers!

Experience/Qualifications

• Have at least one year of experience with Ruby On Rails
• Really know the Ruby language (metaprogramming, duck typing, monkey patching, the whole nine yards)
• Have designed, deployed, and supported at least one large RoR application with a significant user base
• Know how to deploy RoR applications (you can give useful advice on Mongrel clusters, Passenger, lighthttpd, Rack etc.)
• Are comfortable with writing maintainable and bug free Javascript to help build out your RoR applications
• Are keen to get involved with the new HTML5 mobile web browsers
• Write code to test your code as a matter of course
• Are extremely comfortable working at a Unix or SQL prompt
• Understand the data structures and algorithms that great software engineers use
• Love to write clean code, and are confident that your code will stand up well when reviewed by your peers.
