Responsibilities: 

This is a commissioned sales position responsible for technically evangelizing and winning the client, server and infrastructure architectures in focused accounts (key end users, system integrators or OEMs) by offering compelling and cohesive technical solutions based on Intel products and platforms.

In this position you will have to: 

  • Support the efforts of the direct or indirect sales team
  • Build relationships with key account executives and become their technology advisor through understanding their business and technical problems, and demonstrating how these can be solved through the use of Intel-based products and solutions
  • Provide training for the Technical Sales Force of fellow travelers in country organizations (MNCs, OEMs, ISVs, SIs etc.) on latest IA Technologies in order to scale our technical messaging
  • Demonstrate the value of the new technology through technical conferences and presentations (including the press in some countries)

 Qualifications: 

  • Degree level in Computer Science, Electronics or programming
  • 3+ years of technical pre-sales support or solution architect experience in Information Technologies, Data Center infrastructure or IPDC
  • Good customer relations management skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a diverse multinational team in rapidly changing environment
  • Fluent in English verbal and written

The candidate should be able to describe:


  • Generic PC system architecture
  • Server Architecture
  • Power & thermal management levels
  • Server management and datacenter technologies
  • Storage components and interconnect technologies
  • Enterprise IT and IPDC infrastructure
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications (example: SAP* and Siebel*), DBMS (MSFT-SQL*, Oracle* or similar), middleware software (J2EE* and/or .NET*) would be an added advantage.
