Responsibilities:

• Working in Windows/UNIX system administration, including OS/Applications installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and automation.
• Developing new scripts/code to manage and bring business value to IT and Business Unit related process/workflows.
• Participation in work of geo distributed SW development team, being responsible for design, development, testing and improvement/refactoring of applications intended for compute environment management and business processes automation (tools developed by IT for internal customers).
• Participation in customer engagement process to collect requirements, analyze environment and identify areas for leveraging IT solutions to accelerate customers business processes.
• Building out Virtualization infrastructure:
  • Plan, Assess, Design, Build and Support virtual infrastructures (VI) including server and storage platforms.
  • Conduct research and provide all levels of support for issues pertaining to clients’ virtual infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• MS/Engineering degree in Electronic engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in applications/tools development and Windows/Linux systems administration (including system builds and ongoing maintenance).
• Experience engaging with and leveraging strong customer relations is a must.

Required Skills:

• Extensive programming skills in C++/C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, ASP, HTML5, Shell, PHP, Perl.
• Advanced capabilities in Windows and Linux system administration, including OS internals with proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.
• Experience either as an active user or administrator of Application Lifecycle Management tools (Rally, RTC, ClearCase, Subversion, TFS, Bugzilla, Contour, Build-Fordge).
• At least 3+ years’ experience with VMware or a competitive virtualization software solutions.
• Good practical knowledge of networking concepts and infrastructure (TCP/IP, client/server architectures).
