As a senior analyst, it will be your task to sum up complex problems in a structured manner and convert them into sound software implementations. Through your strong orientation to service and ambition to generate the most efficient solutions, you will support our consultants and contribute continuously to the development of new solutions and the optimization of standards. You will work at the many-sided interface between Consulting, our Research Department and Software Development. Experience is needed to show that you can work successfully and efficiently on a team and are able to take on responsibility quickly to find new solutions within larger projects.

 

Major Job Responsibilities

• Implementation of sophisticated statistical analyses for complex network models (Python)
• Database Programming (MySQL)
• Implementation of interfaces to other software modules (Java, Webserver)
• Selection of appropriate calculation methods according to project requirements in collaboration with our consultants
• Automation of model calculations, quality assurance of model results

 

Your Profile

• Outstanding academic degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, mathematics, statistics or equivalent (Diploma M.S. or M.A.)
• 2-3 years of professional experience as a developer (optimally in Python)
• Profound knowledge of Python (optimally with experience for Webservers)
• Knowledge of database programming (e.g. MySQL)
• Enjoy working with innovative statistical models and optimization models on large amounts of data
• Preferably knowledge in one of the areas Data Mining, Machine Learning, Network Diffusion Models, Social Networks or a comparable area
• Other Skills: strong communicational skills, high motivation to achieve, strong organizational and follow-up skills, endurance and flexibility, teamwork, and enthusiasm in solving complex problems
