OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a high-energy developer that has the education and/or commensurate experience to work on a development team responsible for the delivery of a variety of Guardian's custom business systems. Responsibilities could range from requirements definition all the way through to system implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MUST HAVE:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working proficiency in English (preferred).
• High energy with the ability to take ownership of a project or task and be accountable for their decisions and results.
• Ability to work effectively within team parameters and independently with the inclination to get things done.
• Commensurate experience in a computer science, engineering, or other related technical discipline.
• Object oriented development and design concepts.
• 1-3 years of relevant programming language studies / experience (Java, Delphi, .Net, VB, C#).
• 1-3 years of MS SQL (2005\2008R2) & relational database experience, including database replication.
• Relational database design including query\index optimization and tuning for Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proficiency and understanding of agile development and testing methodologies.
• Business analysis experience including requirements definition and the creation of system specifications.
• Proficiency and understanding of productivity tools used within the industry (MS Office\Open Office\Lotus Notes).

PREFEFFED:

• Business oriented perspective.
• Experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment is highly desired.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with different cultures from around the world.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all socioeconomic levels from hourly operators to senior management.
• System design / architecture experience including coordination of developer resources.
• Proficiency / understanding of source control tools (CVS) and change control tools (Jira).
