Role Description
  • Deutsche Bank GFFX Trade Processing team is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist to work with the teams to ensure that applications meet business requirements while maintaining Deutsche Bank's high-quality standards.
  • The approved strategy for FX Trade Processing Quality Assurance is to build more solid QA & Testing strategy/process/planning capability in the bank working very closely with Dev Leads and developers while relying more and more on vendor for the testing execution.
  • The QA Testing Specialist thus reviews business requirements and functional specification documents to identify inconsistencies from application standards and recommend modifications to conform to standards. Responsibilities include creating, executing and documenting the tests necessary to ensure that application and technical environments, software, data, hardware, and process meets performance requirements (technical and functional) while adhering to and meeting established quality objectives.
  • He will be also responsible for the gradual build of the execution capability on vendor side.
 
 
Duties And Responsibilities
 
  • Provide test requirements and operational oversight to vendors
  • Conduct quality gate management and testing status reporting
  • Assist in the development of detailed test strategies and plans for modified systems based on technical and business specifications in accordance with company standards. 
  • Test and analyze each component/phase of the systems development life cycle including the project requirements, design and programs 
  • Until the sufficient testing execution capability is build by the candidate on vendor side:
  • perform exploratory, functional, regression, performance and UI testing write test cases and create test data until the execution capability is created
  • Bug reporting and management
  • Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved
 
 
Experience / Requirements (Required)
  • Experience/Background:
  • Strong Development process and Testing Industry Knowledge (3+)
  • Test planning and test automation experience (2+)
  • Hands on experience of working with complex configurations and version control software
  • Any language development experience (Java languages are preferable)
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL
  • Experience in delivering high quality products in zero tolerance outage environment
  • Experience with testing tools (QTP, GreenHat, Rational Robot, Load Runner, JIRA, QC, etc)
  • Banking experience is preferable

Total monetary compensation consists of fixed monthly payment and annual variable part
