Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking for System Linux Administrator for full time (40 hours per week) in Kyiv / Ukraine.

Required skills:
 
  • Solid knowledge and system administration skills based on * BSD and Linux (CentOS, Fedora, RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu) skills.
  • Solid knowledge and mail servers’ configuration ability (Postfix, Exim, Courier (IMAPs, POP3s)).
  • Solid knowledge and ability to configure web-based applications (Apache Httpd, nginx etc.).
  • Solid knowledge and ability to configure DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL). Tuning, performance optimization, data replication ability.
  • Knowledge and ability to deploy PHP, RoR environment (php-fpm, mod_php, mod_passenger, pear, pecl, rvm etc.).
  • Ability to install and control Software for monitoring (nagios, rmtg).
  • Solid knowledge and ability to configure software for development (SVN, Git).
  • Good Writing/Speaking English Skills (Pre-Intermediate level)
 
Will be a plus knowledge of:
 
  • Networking protocols and routing.
  • Configuration DNS on the basis of bind.
  • Virtualization (Xen, WMWare).
  • Active network equipment Cisco, Juniper.
  • Fine-tuning the firewall (iptables, ipfw, pf).
  • Working with/setting up ssh, ftp, NFS, shell ability.
