On behalf of APPDNA (appdna.citrix.com), Ciklum is looking for Middle .NET Developer for Citrix.

We are looking for a skilled analyst developer with strong C# and .Net experience that has working to some degree on all tiers: Data, Business and Presentation but with a specialization in one of these areas.

An active and enthusiastic person is required who will provide insight into past development failures and successes, with the ability to add to the current architecture and help drive the success of the product.

The team is a small, focused team that work closely together and under pressure with a rewarding environment where everyone gets to contribute to the product features and architecture. This is a full cycle development position using the Agile Methodology (Scrum).

Initially the role would require a close collaboration with QA in order to help develop some automated data validations and functional tests for the product.

Job Purpose:   

Develop , maintain, support and document Citrix AppDNA’s C# application and products

Main responsibilities:

• Development of Citrix’s products – understanding the functionality of existing tools and taking over bug-fixing, patching and enhancements to existing software.
• Technology – it is important for the employee to develop a domain knowledge and understanding of the core technologies that App-DNA deal with such as Windows 7 Compatibility, App-V, Citrix, and Virtualisation Assessment. The role would involve researching new technologies and developing solutions around them.
• Testing – take part in the creation and implementation of test plans for software applications and enhancements as well as developing unit tests.
• Best Practices – it is important that the employee demonstrates an understanding of coding best practices and adheres to guidelines laid out for the structure of coding and documentation.
• Documentation Ensure projects, plans and software is well documented and that documentation is accessible.

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

Skills Knowledge:

• An excellent understanding of advanced C#
• Solid experience developer commercial solutions
• An understanding of n-tiered architecture
• Experience in Winforms, WebForms and the .Net Framework experience.
• Understanding good software practices
• Experience with databases and SQL, ASP, ASP.Net and .Net Web Services.

Experience:

• Some experience developing GUIs
• Experiences n-tiered development
• Contribute to the design and product architecture
• Takes an active and interested role in programming and design
• Works well collaboratively
• Excellent Understanding of .Net Framework
• Understanding of C# WinForms, WebForms - ASP.Net
• Understanding of the underlying Windows Sub System and the anatomy of applications is desirable
