X-Markets (http://x-markets.db.com/) is one of the largest Securitized Derivatives Trading System in Europe. With daily turnover of several hundred million euro, X-Markets market share in Germany is about 25% and more than 30% in Italy and the world’s number one warrants issuer. 
 
XOL Development team is one of the largest team in Deutsche Bank Development Center (Top 10 projects) and manages full lifecycle of application development from architecture and technology decisions to project planning and development, release and hardware management and level 3 production support.
 
From the technology perspectives XOL application is a real-time low latency distributed application. It requires extremely strong Java expertise, creative and innovative approach to design and architecture of new solutions. Main focus for this year in XOL is re-architecture to meet demanding business requirements of capacity and stability.

Description of the position:
We are looking for the Lead Java Developer with the below day-to-day responsibilities:
  • Requirements clarification and effort estimation 
  • Design architecture and develop new functionality 
  • Code refactoring 
  • Code review 
  • SL3 support 
  • Taking active part in the architecture discussions of  the future state
 
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of commercial software development 
  • excellent knowledge of core Java and Java technologies 
  • strong multi-threading and concurrent skills 
  • Unix user / developer 
  • SQL basic knowledge 
  • ability to drive design and architecture for large distributed applications 
  • good communication skill 
  • English: upper-intermediate and above
