QA ENGINEER / TESTER

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

• Inavante provides solutions that enable IT organizations to manage their projects, coordinate and integrate the software development lifecycle, and synchronize their processes on a global scale.
• Work in development team of 5 developers for video conferencing project. The project is based on Java Atmosphere Framework (Comet, WebSockets), Red5 RTMP video streaming, Zuggler video transcoding, JQuery UI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow existing QA project processes
• Participate in regression and performance testing
• Write scripts, run tests and analyze the results
• Cover Web/Desktop/Backend applications
• Perform Requirements analysis
• Perform planning and estimation of testing efforts
• Produce communications with BA/DEV
• Defect tracking
• Report to PM/Team Lead
• Create and maintain testing documentation

REQUIREMENTS:

• General QA qualification and automation experience (2+ years)
• Good written and spoken English
• Understanding of testing processes, testing documents, test design, test automation and their roles in software development cycle
• Understanding and experience in estimation process, planning and tracking activities
• Experience in automated testing of Web/Desktop/Backend applications
• Good QA theory knowledge
