Senior QA Automation Engineer/Software Engineer in Test

Position requirements:

·        4 + years of experience in software testing

·         Good communications skills, written and spoken English

·         Background in systems administration/support is a plus

Experience with:

·         Issue tracking tools (JIRA, Mercury Quality Center would be a plus)

·         Non-functional testing: being hands-on with  Apache JMeter

·         Unix/Linux environment: basic Unix & scripting skills

·         Java: should be able to analyze stack trace, reconfigure Java application

·         Any of Java/Perl/Python/Groovy/Bash/other scripting languages at the level that allows creating automated tests

·         SQL (Oracle): being able to design and execute SQL queries

·         JMS (Tibco EMS): being able to analyze JMS exchange would be a plus

·         HTTP protocol: being able to analyze HTTP exchange would be a plus

·         Experience in finance (especially foreign exchange markets) would be a plus

Responsibilities:

·         Work as part of agile development team

·         Plan, organize & manage QA process

·         Participate for the requirements analysis,

·         Responsible for design of test cases, their creation and execution

·         Automation of tests creation in close collaboration with development team, creation of automated deployment scenarios

·         Raise, track and manage defects

·         Conduct measurements in course of project and control compliance with project quality goals

·         Report on test status to manager

·         Focus the team on stabilizing and improving the development process

·         Support software deployments/environments, troubleshoot technical issues with software configuration/set-up

As a plus:

·         Understanding of financial services, preferably work experience in investment banks

·         Experience working in Agile Environment is a plus
