MMD Tools Team

• The team is working on internal software tools for video codecs verification, algorithms visualization, quality measurement and hardware capability assessment
• We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic candidate who will be responsible for development and timely delivery of reliable and high performance software.

Responsibilities:

•  Leads 2 sub-teams of software developers
•  Performs code and design reviews
•  Architects, designs, develops and delivers software applications and documentation
•  Solves complex and novel problems
•  Follows and facilitates software development  process
•  Assigns, manages and facilitates others to fully complete tasks and goals on time
•  Overall software component ownership
•  Coaches and mentors staff, influences others as a technical leader

Basic Skills / Knowledge:

•       Master degree in Computer Science or Electric/Computer Engineering or Mathematics
•       Organizational, planning and scheduling skills. Strong analysis and problem solving skills
•       Excellent understanding of multithreading and OOP design; architect experience .
•       Hands on experience in C/C++ MSVC for Windows development, GUI (MFC, STL, ATL, WTL, QT)
•       Understanding of video codecs concepts and video processing algorithms is an asset (MPEG4,H.263,H.264)
•       Experience with video formats and containers is an asset
•       Experience with 3D programming (OpenGL, Direct3D, DirectX) or GPU programming(OpenCL/CUDA)is an asset
•       Experience with communication and co-development with Western companies is an asset
•       Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
