Svitla Systems Inc. is seeking for Software Business Analyst for full time (40 hours per week) in Kyiv.
 
Required skills for this position are:
 
  • Understanding of key software development life cycle models.
  • Solid experience and expertise with web development projects: estimation, management, implementation.
  • Experience in customer management and communications.
  • Fluent verbal and written English.
  • Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following technologies is a plus: Ruby on Rails,  PHP, ASP.Net.
  • Any certifications and technical degrees also a plus.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Working with business development department for planning and technical sales.
  • Scope the system: work with key project stakeholders and business people to formulate and communicate the business vision for the project, map out initial requirements and the scope of the project.
  • Interpret business needs: distill the differing messages and needs of project stakeholders into a single, consistent vision.
  • Translate technical issues: breaking down technical and architectural complexities so that project stakeholders can easily understand any issues that crop up. Explain what the developers plan to do and why they need to do it, including explanations of the basis of schedules and estimates.
  • Spell out the project details and requirements: work with project stakeholders to identify, model and then document their requirements and business domain details.
  • Represent project stakeholders throughout the process.
