Design and develop a state of the art web platform core technology with long term assets for a leading company in the online gaming industry.


Mission

Design and develop a core system that will be the platform for all customer specific web application requirements.

Integrate all company services (Casino, Poker, Bingo etc.) under a single umbrella and make a one stop shop for all the company services.

The system will be built with a mindset of performance utilization, scalability and cost effectiveness.

The system will use the most advanced and innovative development technologies and automated tools in the industry.

The system will be Agile enough in order to adapt to the constant changes in the market demands

Portal Architect

Job description and tasks:

Playtech is looking for a strong architect to join our Portal product unit.

The Portal Architect will leverage their extensive experience in software architecture and software engineering practices in complex, heterogeneous technology environments to support company’s business objectives and to help us deliver current & future software fast and in better quality.
This is a great opportunity to professional who is looking for challenge and very interesting position.

 

Requirements:

·         Higher education in IT or Computer Science.

·         Prior experience as development manager, chief architect or CTO, with preference to the Internet domain.

·         At least 7 years prior experience in software development and/or system integration. Full understanding of a product life cycle, including Agile methodologies.

·         3+ years of experience managing system architecture for web products.

·         Wide understanding of information technologies, familiar with recent innovations and trends. Proficient in Web technologies and Content Management Systems.

·         Knowledge of enterprise architecture and Java/J2EE technologies is an advantage.

·         Strong interpersonal, leadership and representation skills. Highly motivated, proactive, great attention to detail, results-oriented problem solver, and ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.

·         Very good English (written and spoken).
