Software Development within Tobii:

We develop software for all sorts of eye tracking products from internal research tools to complex scientific applications to mass produced consumer products. We use the latest Microsoft technologies in combination with open source tools to obtain the most effective environment. We strive for loose coupling, maintainability, testability and extensibility. We work in small effective and agile project groups (3-5 persons), often closely together with a Swedish project leader or product owner.

Job Description:

The role requires an individual that is a team player and enjoys the success of a team delivery. You are expected to take an active role with great responsibility throughout the entire development project, from feasibility study, requirements, design, architecture and implementation work, to validation and deployment. You will work in an agile environment since our projects are highly dynamic and the final products may differ greatly from the original specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• A university or Master degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years professional experience as a programmer.
• At least 3 years professional experience from C#/.NET programming.
• Solid experience in development of desktop applications for Windows.
• Strong knowledge in OOA/D and SOLID principles and accustomed to TDD (Test Driven Design).
• Good skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

Experience from one or several of the following areas are strongly qualifying

• Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
• Database development using ORM (e.g. NHibernate)
• Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF)
• Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
• Dependency injection containers (e.g Unity)
• Leading agile teams (e.g. scrum master)
