Project description:

The project is within insurance domain, with the goal of building public Consumer Portal and a specialized Industry Website for participating insurance agencies. It will contain agency profile functionality, which is to be integrated with Consumer Portal to support lead generation, billing and administration subsystems as well as extensive analytics and reporting. The core of the system is a transactional database with substantial business logic and data warehouse capabilities. The product will be initially piloted in a few selected states and then deployed as nation-wide system.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS
• Knowledge jQuery, JavaScript
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Sencha, Ember.js
• Practical experience with cross-browser compatibility issues
• Linux/Mac OS advanced user
• Good written and spoken English, decent listening comprehension

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of CSS frameworks such as Compass and Twitter Bootstrap
• Knowledge of CMS WordPress, Joomla or similar
• Git or SVN experience
• Ruby on Rails experience
• MySQL or PostgreSQL experience
• Knowledge of RSpec framework
