Job Description and Requirements

We are a team working on producing the high quality development toolchain for ARC family of 32-bit configurable processors. We are looking for an engineer like you to be part of the team to work on a world-class highly optimizing feature-rich compiler and debugger toolchain.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute compiler and debugger test suites
• Develop and maintain automated build and test infrastructure
• Thoroughly evaluate new and existing features of the compiler, debugger, GUI and other development tools
• Run and generate comparison reports for industry standard benchmarks such as EEMBC, Dhrystone, etc.
• Report on performance regressions and correctness
• Work closely with the customer support and engineering to diagnose issues, create testcases and verify the fixes

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of the working of the development tools such as compilers, debuggers, simulators, etc.
• Experience with the test scripts and test infrastructure development
• Proficient programming skills in C++, C, assembly and script languages
• Prior experience with development tools testing is a plus
• Ability to finding problems in an embedded test environment setup is a plus
• Experience with the development tools such as SVN and Bugzilla
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• BSCS degree or equivalent, MSCS preferred
