Position Overview

The Technology Department is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance Team.  As a Senior Software Test Engineer you will be working in highly dynamic Agile environment and will be responsible for both manual testing and test automation of the Company’s Interactive Multimedia Patient Engagement Emmi Solutions which consists of a combination of Apache, Java Enterprise Beans, JSP, Adobe Flash / ActionScript, Microsoft SQL Server as well as our newest Mobility Platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participation in the product life-cycle including requirements gathering, creation of functional specifications, detailed test plans, test cases and test scripts development according to the functional requirements and acceptance criteria’s.
• Document defects, generate status reports, bug reports and present them on daily and weekly status meetings.
• Perform multi-browser and multi-platform smoke, functional, regression and ad-hock testing of Company’s applications and solutions.
• Execute mobile testing of our client facing applications on the following platforms - Android, iOS, and Windows Phone.
• Develop regression and functional test automation scripts on Java using Selenium-WebDriver as well as contribute to the existing Test Automation Framework.
• Work with other members of the Emmi Solutions development team to improve our processes, tools, methods, effectiveness and efficiency

Job qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical training and professional work experience
• 4+ year experience in software testing and quality assurance
• 2+ years automated testing experience with Selenium RC or Selenium-WebDriver
• Hands-on experience of test automation scripting in Java environment (JUnit, TestNG)
• Strong experience with testing products with the following technology stack:  Flash, Flex, HTTP5, CSS3,
• JavaScript, XML, Web Services across multiple platform environments (Windows, Linux and mobile)
• Mobile testing experience is a strong plus (Android, iPhone/iPad, BlackBerry, Windows Phone)
• Experience with continuous integration tools and version control systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in Agile software environment
• Experience testing of Adobe Flash applications a strong plus
• SQL experience is a plus
• Linux and Mac OS platform and application testing knowledge a plus
