Successful candidates should meet the following requirements: 

• In-depth knowledge of Linux 2.6/3.x kernel and device driver development
• Experience in industrial or embedded software development
• Familiarity with software design techniques and technologies
• Experience with test methodologies and validation
• Interpersonal and communication skills

Desired Skills:

•  Experience with contributing to one or more open source software projects         
•  Knowledge of ARM architecture 
•  Android OS system architecture knowledge     

Job Responsibilities:

• Software design (leading discussion with internal and external parties for software support around key technologies), 
•  Development and testing, debugging on multiple platforms 
• Instrument software projects to analyze and optimize performance 
• Work with open source projects and community to develop and contribute code
